Our Background
Wellfound Safaris was founded in 2010, and our roots run deep. The farm that forms our base has been in the family for generations, and hunting has always been a way of life here—first shared with family and friends, then local South African hunters, and now with international guests from around the world.
Hunting Grounds & Concessions
We operate across a wide variety of private concessions in the Eastern Cape. This diversity of terrain means we can offer everything from open plains to broken valleys and high mountain slopes—each home to different species and suited to different types of hunters.
Meet Your Professional Hunter
Wellfound Safaris is led by certified professional hunter Matthew Biggs. Born and raised on the farm, Matthew began hunting at the age of 5. With years of experience guiding international clients of all ages and skill levels, he’s passionate about creating a safe, rewarding and respectful hunting experience—whether you’re using a rifle or a bow.
